Gaza - Essential Aid

Before the onset of the ongoing attacks on Gaza in October 2023, SWAN tirelessly provided monthly food packs and renovated a home every month in the region. This had stopped and we now provide emergency aid for to the ongoing attacks on Gaza. Despite the challenges, we remain committed to helping however we can.

Our efforts are ongoing, and we urgently appeal for your support as we continue to provide essential aid, both during Ramadhan and beyond. The situation in Gaza has reached a critical point, with families facing dire circumstances:

- Starvation:Many people are struggling to find food to eat and have reportedly been eating animal feed, with food scarcity exacerbating the crisis. Your donation can help provide vital food packs to those who are going hungry.

- Lack of Sanitary Supplies: Women and girls in Gaza are facing immense challenges without access to basic sanitary towels and hygiene products as well as water. Your support can ensure that these essential items reach those who need them most, preserving their dignity and well-being.

- Harsh Living Conditions: In the refugee camps of Gaza, the cold winter months bring added hardship. Families are struggling to stay warm, with inadequate shelter and limited resources. Blankets and warm clothing can provide crucial relief and protection from the elements.

Our current donation projects include:

- Water Tankers:£5250 will enable us to send clean, safe water to refugee camps in Gaza, where access to this basic necessity is desperately needed.

- £50 Food packs

- £5 Hot meal in Ramadhan  

In addition, we have been granted access to send in trucks laden with essential supplies such as water, food packs, medical kits, blankets, and sanitary towels. Your donation can make a difference in providing urgent aid to those affected by the crisis.
