Darul Qur'aan Madrassah Education and Empowerment Project

Darul Qur'aan Madrassah, established in 2018, is a dedicated educational institution in Malawi that provides both Islamic and secular education to children and women. The madrassah currently serves 70 students, half of whom are orphans. In addition to academic studies, the madrassah offers a boarding facility, ensuring students receive accommodation and meals on campus. The madrassah also covers the school fees for secular studies at government schools for the 50% of students who are verified orphans and do not pay any fees.

For just £15 a month, you can sponsor a child's education and Hifz (Qur'an memorization).

This small contribution will cover the costs of their Islamic and secular studies, as well as their accommodation and meals. Your generosity will ensure that these children, many of whom have already overcome significant challenges, continue to thrive and achieve their dreams. 

The madrassah's achievements include producing two Huffaaz (those who have memorized the Qur'an) and graduating 24 women, some of whom now serve as teachers in other madrassahs. This year alone, the institution has 4 new Huffaaz, 7 graduates from the Aalim course (Islamic scholarship), and 15 students who have completed a computer course, equipping them with valuable skills for the future.Join us in making a lasting impact on these young lives.
