Swan London
Breast is best for those in poverty and hardship
Feed mothers so they can breastfeed their babies
Fundraising Story
SWAN are working with Rivers of Mercy and Fig and Olive NFP to deliver this vital project that supports the surviving mothers and infants. In order to provide good nutrition to infants, their mothers need to be looked after as ell. These mothers are nursing their own children as well as orphans so we hope to help them as much as possible. We have the following packages:
- £15 Hygiene supplies Essential sanitary towels for mum and nappies for the babies.
- £20 Fresh fruit and vegetables A bag of fresh fruit and vegetables according to local availability
- £100 Fresh fruit and vegetables for 20 days. A bag of fresh fruit and vegetables according to local availability.
SWAN have partnered with Fig and Olive NFP and that we have implementing partners on the ground. As advocates for health and compassion, our hearts ache witnessing infants in dire circumstances, separated from their mothers due to conflict and facing a battle for survival—starting with the basic nourishment crucial for life.
Yet, amidst this despair, displaced and grieving mothers still possess the invaluable gift of breastmilk. With your support, we can transform their pain into resilience.
These mothers urgently require assistance: food provisions to sustain their weary bodies, hygiene kits for both mother and child, and the reassurance that they are not forgotten by someone, somewhere, who cares deeply for them, their families, and their community.
Please contribute what you can. Every donation, regardless of size, serves as a vital act of compassion towards these struggling mothers and babies, reminding them they are not alone in their journey.
Let us not ignore the cries of these vulnerable infants. Become their answer today by making a donation and joining the fight for life.
Together, we can nurture hope, one precious drop at a time.
